Audrey & Mary | Friends

Probably endured one of my toughest weeks to date, but thankful I have such a supportive family and amazing friends that just send up prayers, even if they don't know whats its for, lol. So photos have been put on hold this week and will continue back on Monday. (Sessions are continued as scheduled, but I have stepped out of the office for the week.)

On a better note, Halloween just came and went, and we had once again loads of fun trick or treating at family and friends' houses. I'm not one to walk with a 1 year old down streets (quite yet), but we made our rounds and got a big bag of candy out of it.. which will mostly be eaten by my husband. haha!

Heres a session I worked on last week and haven't had the time to post yet, but will do it now!
Audrey called me a few months ago and expressed a special gift she wanted to give her friend, Mary.. what better than a photo shoot! We had a hoot just visiting and getting to know the two, and capturing some great moments between them, and got some awesome laughs.

Barkley's | Family

This family has such a great connection and I fell in love with their photos the minute I uploaded them. You can feel the laughter through the picture and thats what my purpose is, to bring life to still images. Meghan (Meghan's Cakes and Cookies) is such a talented cake decorator/designer, and I've had the privelage of being able to have her make 3 cakes so far. All veeery delicious, and all very affordable!! Thanks again guys for allowing me to capture your wonderful family!!

Crocheted Hats and More!

So I decided to do some promotional photography for a friend who designs and creates baby/toddler hats, blankets, and so much more! It was a lot of fun photographing from another angle other than the expressions and personalities, but the color and creativeness in these hats! Jen and Robin | Family

This family drove all the way from Brandon for Thanksgiving and while in the area decided to sneak in some family shots! Thanks again guys! The yard they used had tons of opportunities! It was a lot of fun!

Judy and Tito | Engagement Part 2

With the sun going down super early lately, and people working full time till around that time, sessions had to be split into two. This one was one of them, but I'm so happy I did it twice cuz the outcome the second time around was awesome. We had new and fresh ideas.. and were so excited to bring them to camera. I'm excited to see her invite she's creating with these photos! :)

I had a lot of fun photographing this family! Their yard had so much opportunity, and they had ideas right from the start! Thanks again Amanda and family for allowing me to photograph you guys! Can't wait to do it again sometime!

Kathy and Rej | Engagement

Another couple with the same requests.. Engagement session and invitations. :) Was fun to be able to venture out to a different side of me and see what I can come up with.. Was exciting! Glad things went well. The day was rather cold, but we fought through it and came out a success. Thanks again Kathy and Rej!! Looking forward to photographing your special day in December!

Naomi and Jaime | Engagement

Thankgiving weekend has come and gone, and am so full from all the yummy turkey, meatballs, mashed potatoes, and stuffing that went with it! Also spent lots of time with family, and snuck in a bunch of photo shoots as well. Made up for a busy but blessed weekend. On another note, here's a couple who are so much in love and is going to unite their family in about 4 weeks! I have the privelage of photographing their special day as well as their engagement session. I also ventured into an area which I have had little experience in is creating wedding invitations. Learning different ends of photoshop (other than brushes, and stuff..) and finding neat and exciting ways to express their love through words.. tough tough. Thanks again Jaime and Naomi for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives! Going to be an exciting wedding!!

Hutchinson | family

Another Winnipeg road trip lead me to this family. Another referral was given, and I was excited to be able to do some indoor stuff (in preparation for winter and to also get to have some fun with my new flash). Turned out so well! They even had their own input and wanted some poses done, and I was super thrilled. Client input during the session is always welcome and accepted..

Reunion

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! (well, all you Canadians that is!). Hope you to give thanks and stuff your faces full of turkey, pumpkin pie, and everything else thanksgiving throws at you, lol

Thanksgiving weekend has probably been one of my busiest weekends since I began this. Within the Saturday Sunday and Monday of the weekend, I will be doing 7 sessions followed by a large family (about 25 people and individual families). Guess its the weekend to do it considering the next holiday is Christmas and people want photos done! So this weekend has been pretty crammed but I'll be looking forward to squeezing in time with family today and tomorrow.

When this family contacted me at the beginning of the year to do their pictures, I was excited cuz it was my first out-of-town session and it turned out awesome. Thanks again guys, you were a lot of fun to work with!

Judy and Tito | Engagement

Judy came up to me a couple months ago and had a vivid idea of what she wanted for her engagement pictures, I'd have to say it was the most unique photography I've seen to date. I loved it!

Amanda and Jayson | Wedding

I love customizing weddings to fit the couple and thier personalities.. and I think this one went so well!! It was great to see us go to so many locations, and get so much variety out of such a groggy day, Luckily, we beat the rain... If only it was that easy about the bees!
