Summer Lovin'

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

I guess its been pretty much all summer since I updated this thing! Wow, have to rewind my mind.

Well, first off lets start with last weekend. Joey and Stacey Wall phoned me about 2 months ago, requesting my services on their wedding day. They're so fresh, and so much in love, and the chemistry they share is overwhelming. To his words, "I fell for her the second I saw her..". They made my day so relaxed, I enjoyed every minute of the day.

This girl came out from Kansas with her twin boys, and I couldn't help resist taking a session with her while she was out. They're busy boys (as are most twin boys), and she's definitely a mother I can look up to.

I've had the privelage of photographing this cutie a few times now and everytime she excites me! The smiles and joy that comes out of her is priceless, and she's definitely a warm touch to the heart.

I was super thrilled when this couple came up to me and asked me to do their boy's one year photos. Simple pictures at the park, and the weather was perfect so overall the session went perfect!

I've stuck by this little sweetheart since she was in her mommy's tummy! Seieng her grow up is just so exciting!! Can't believe shes already 6 months old, and full of energy!

This session was joined up with her sister's son (cousin) Austin! Born only weeks apart, these kids will grow up to be really close, as are the mom's!

I always include an engagement session for each wedding booked with me, and this couple was a lot of fun! Another day of perfect weather made up for a great session!! Photographing their wedding in 2 weeks! Very exciting!

I had yet another successful session with this family at a beeeautiful century year old home!

Another successful wedding in and out the door! This couple's engagement photos are in the slideshow before this post, and we had a blast photographing in many locations! I was super excited to find out he was a pilot and she loved horses. Two places we went were an airport and a horse farm. It was a great day, and weather was perfect. Held off right up until the ceremony which was indoors anyways!!

Family sessions are already starting to come now that Christmas is just a few months away!! Here was the first session of the Christmas Season year.. and it was a lot of fun!!

My cousin`s family drove all the way from Alberta for our annual family reunion, and also wanted their family photo taken. They were a hoot, as they always are, and we had loads of fun!!

The Olfert twins were probably the cutest twin girls I have met to date!! It was exciting cuz I also have a twin sister! They're going and are the best of friends..

And last but not least, I did something I've never done before.. a 7 GIRL Trash the Dress shoot!! This was a lot of fun, and I'm so happy to say that 6/7 of them go their dresses clean! The other one tore hers to peices at the session so it wasn't worth fixing, lol!

There are way too many photos to post as favs.. We did a mini session with each individual, and we even trashed one of the dresses.... but here's the aftermath..

So there you have it! Thats been a highlight of my summer so far.. And working full time up until a week ago made it that much busier! I'm thankful to say I'm doing this full time and it feels a lot better, more focused, and I even get more time with my daughter!! Couldn't ask for anything more..
